Fundraising Ambassador

You will be employed by Engage and Connect Ltd or OneSixty Fundraising, on behalf of Chestnut Tree House, to support our Lottery team in raising funds and promoting our work in the local community.
This is an excellent opportunity to promote our children's hospice care services across Sussex, engaging with the public in various settings, such as shopping centres or door-to-door. You will be part of a fully supported team, raising awareness and encouraging the community to support us by playing the Chestnut Tree House Lottery.
In return, you will receive:

We value professionalism and respect in our approach, and you will be fully trained to the standards of the Fundraising Regulator to support this.
You will be able to build rapport with everyone you meet, thanks to your outgoing personality and excellent communication and customer service skills. Ideally, you will have door-to-door or face-to-face sales experience, although full in-house and agency training will be provided.
An understanding and empathy towards children's charities is a distinct advantage. You must also feel passionately about the work of hospices.
About UsChestnut Tree House is the children's hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
You will be joining our organisation at a time of exciting change, as we bring our teams and resources together to focus on new visions and plans for our people and patients.
