About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Gardener to join our team at Butlins. As a key member of our Facilities department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our resort's gardens and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the maintenance requirements of the resort's gardens and grounds are met to the highest standards.
  • Carry out effective garden maintenance, including grass cutting, shrub management, hedge trimming, flower bed maintenance, and tree care.
  • Present the front of house areas to a high standard, including litter clearance and other ground duties.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve common goals.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Working Hours:

Hours may vary between 8am-6pm, with the possibility of working 7 days a week. Rest days can vary.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driver's license (desirable)
  • Age 21 or above for driving resort vehicles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative
  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or gardening (preferred but not essential)
