About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Vascular Scientist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Vascular Science Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of vascular science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently interpret and report results using specialized vascular knowledge, producing an overall diagnosis and identifying and acting on incidental and/or urgent findings appropriately.
  • Provide direct teaching, training, and supervision to STP and vascular practitioner trainees.
  • Actively participate in and support colleagues in clinical research, audit, innovation, and service evaluation projects.

Requirements
  • Science Degree (BSc level or higher).
  • Accredited Vascular Scientist (AVS) with the Society for Vascular Technology of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or NSHCS STP Certificate of Completion (or near completion for those in year 3 of STP).
