IT Service Desk Support Role

About the Job

Ginger Science, Innovation & Technology is seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Support professional to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and resolve technical issues and queries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all issues and queries in our IT Service Management Software.
  • Escalate and manage issues with 3rd party vendors, ensuring regular updates on progress.
  • Provide support for our desktop solutions, including Active Directory, user maintenance processes, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing of systems enhancements, patches, and bug-fixes.
  • Manage and record keeping of all IT assets, including hardware and software licensing.

Requirements

  • Experience in a commercial environment, preferably with a strong background in IT support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft product stack, including Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365, and Intune.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent customer care skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PC and Network operating environments, along with associated applications.
