About the Job
Ginger Science, Innovation & Technology is seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Support professional to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and resolve technical issues and queries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all issues and queries in our IT Service Management Software.
- Escalate and manage issues with 3rd party vendors, ensuring regular updates on progress.
- Provide support for our desktop solutions, including Active Directory, user maintenance processes, and Microsoft Office products.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing of systems enhancements, patches, and bug-fixes.
- Manage and record keeping of all IT assets, including hardware and software licensing.
Requirements
- Experience in a commercial environment, preferably with a strong background in IT support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft product stack, including Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365, and Intune.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent customer care skills and effective communication abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident telephone manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft PC and Network operating environments, along with associated applications.
