Job Description

Pertemps Bond is seeking experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The Role

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various stores throughout the UK. Your duties will include:

  • Operating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle for approximately 2-3 drops per day.
  • Working 12 hour shifts daily, with a minimum of 4 shifts per week.
  • Delivering goods to stores in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Heavy lifting may be involved in this role.
Rates of Pay

Our competitive rates of pay include:

  • £15.17 per hour for 4 x 12 hour shifts per week.
  • Overtime shifts available at time and a half.
Estimated Earnings

Based on 4 shifts per week, your estimated earnings will be:

  • Basic weekly: £ based on 4 shifts per week.
  • With 1 OT shift: £ based on 5 shifts per week.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Hold a valid 7.5 Tonne (Cat C1) license, Full CPC and Digi card.
  • A minimum of six months 7.5 Tonne or Class 2 experience.
  • Less than 3 points on your licence, for insurance purposes.
  • Have a good understanding of health and safety.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers.
