As a Maintenance Strategy Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects, ensuring that our logistics support analysis aligns with maintenance strategies.

Your Future Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advocating for the integration of maintainability constraints in design, focusing on Predictive Maintenance requirements.
  • Overseeing and executing logistics support analysis activities to meet quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
  • Assessing life cycle cost performance in accordance with design for serviceability targets.
  • Formulating maintenance plans and designing logistics support analysis components.
  • Allocating spare parts effectively.
  • Compiling data in the central logistics support repository.
  • Drafting logistics support analysis management plans.
  • Ensuring technical collaboration with various teams.
  • Verifying compliance with design for serviceability across subsystems.
  • Collecting and considering feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Managing the definition of the logistics breakdown structure in line with design engineering.
  • Developing maintenance plans and conducting life cycle cost analyses.
  • Coordinating with procurement for logistics support analysis requirements.
  • Ensuring the logistics support analysis database is accurately maintained.
  • Validating the technical maintenance documentation.
  • Promoting adherence to standard practices aligned with international standards.
  • Utilizing data to enhance future project quality, cost, and delivery.

  • A degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in developing maintenance strategies.
  • A strong background in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with UK rolling stock maintenance is advantageous.
  • Experience in maintenance execution.
  • Knowledge of design for serviceability and logistics support analysis engineering is desirable.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Strong communication and people management skills.
  • Familiarity with key logistics support analysis elements.
  • Technically competent with solid decision-making abilities.
