**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth in the District Heating sector.
  • Develop a business plan that delivers significant growth through the development of new schemes or the acquisition of existing assets.
  • Oversee the performance of existing assets in the business unit and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive business growth.
  • Manage the delivery of District Heating projects through subcontractors, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Represent Chronos Energy with industry bodies, promoting our expertise and thought leadership in the sector.
  • Develop and implement commercial models that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team as the business unit expands, ensuring a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Take ownership of the business unit's P&L, making informed decisions to drive growth and profitability.

**Requirements**

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a successful career in District Heating (Heat Networks) and demonstrable success in growing and developing a business or business unit in the sector. They will also have strong commercial experience, as well as business development expertise. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a wide range of heat-related topics, including operations, commercial, technical, regulatory, and business development.
