Job Title: Civil Engineering Delivery Manager

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Delivery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Capital Maintenance Projects team, you will be responsible for the delivery of a large portfolio of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, water production, waste and water network functions, above and below ground.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement process, framework suppliers and sub-contractor supply chain involved in the delivery of site-based construction activities.
  • Be directly responsible for resource management and the training, development, and support of directly managed Project Engineers.
  • Provide estimates, programming, and planning support to the wider team.
  • Ensure delivery of all construction projects on the program with 100% compliance to client specifications.
  • Deliver all projects within legislative, CDM and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, Environmental and HR.
Requirements:
  • Background within Utilities or Engineering sectors is essential.
  • Have experience within an engineering role is desirable.
  • Possess a tenacious and resilient personality with the ability to work with confidence in a Challenging, Reactive environment.
  • An understanding of basic civil engineering works, contract law, planning, estimating and tendering.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary up to £66,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
  • 26 days annual leave per year increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
  • Car Allowance of £4,500 per annum.
