Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Downe Manor Primary School in Northolt. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers in planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
  • Provide KS1 and KS2 support across all subjects
  • Participate in after-school clubs, music, or cooking activities
  • Support children 1:1 (if necessary)
  • Work with SEN students
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with staff and students
Requirements:
  • A passionate Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children and children with additional needs
  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team to improve pupil outcomes
  • Able to plan and deliver interventions for pupils to support their academic and emotional wellbeing
  • Actively engaged in improving their own skills through seeking constructive feedback
Location:

The school is located in the heart of Northolt, with easy access to public transport. We have an onsite car park, but spaces are limited, so we recommend using public transport.
