Job Overview

South Central Fleet Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Parts Person to join our team at our workshop facility in Nursling. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our stockroom and associated digital records on behalf of South Central Ambulance Service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage the stock ordering for ambulances and other vehicles, ensuring compliance with SCFS Ltd standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers on stock ordering, returns, queries, and price differences.
  • Conduct regular stock analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes.
  • Embrace digitalization and support the rollout of digital job cards, parts barcodes, and records.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and suggest process improvements to management.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain records related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and report any hazards or accidents.
  • Participate in training courses related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Contribute to income generation and cost savings initiatives.
