ROLE OVERVIEW

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering HVAC engineering services across various projects in the refinery, petrochemical, and energy transition sectors. Key responsibilities include:
  • Executing HVAC engineering tasks for diverse projects
  • Assuming the role of Lead HVAC Engineer as necessary
  • Overseeing the creation and approval of HVAC engineering deliverables
  • Assisting in the planning and scheduling of project activities
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop project deliverables
  • Utilizing expertise in ventilation system design and HVAC solutions at a Principal level
  • Producing essential design documents, including Ventilation Flow Diagrams (VFDs), Basis of Design (BoD), and Plant Sizing Calculations
  • Generating comprehensive written reports, including Equipment Specifications and Design Assessment Reports
  • Identifying changes in project scope and schedule in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Maintaining project work within budget and timeline constraints
  • Preparing estimates and schedules for review
  • Performing HVAC equipment sizing as required for project stages

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in a relevant engineering field
  • Experience in FEED/EPCM projects
  • Proven client management skills
  • Ability to coordinate within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC/Building Services systems
  • Project management experience within the HVAC discipline
  • Familiarity with industry standards in the Oil and Gas sector
  • Understanding of current 'Green' directives related to HVAC
