Fixed Asset Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our financial accounts team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining all aspects of the fixed asset process.

**Key Responsibilities**
---------------------

* Consolidate the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a period-by-period basis to support the year-end process and reconciliation.
* Build relationships with the wider business on items of a capital nature.
* Process and monitor additions and disposals accurately.
* Mitigate risk, particularly around documentation for audit sampling.
* Respond to ad hoc requests proactively.

**Requirements**
------------

* CIMA or ACCA qualified.
* Experience in the transacting and controlling of all aspects of fixed assets.
* Understanding of UK Accounting Standards.
* Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
* Knowledge of finance system management and internal control.
