About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Director to join our team at Very Group. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk management and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Internal Audit strategy, aligned with the company's overall risk management objectives.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of audits, ensuring that they are conducted in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Board, senior management, and other departments.
  • Manage a team of internal auditors, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that the company's risk management framework is effective and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless audit process.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring that our Internal Audit function remains compliant and effective.
