About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Meet all performance and productivity standards, including delivery times and customer satisfaction

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr. Overtime is paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate. You will also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata), full uniform provided, and a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates.

Requirements

  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
