About the Role

This is a full-time, substantive position that requires a strong background in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a well-established consultant team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical care to patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
• Conduct surgical procedures, including endoscopic and microscopic surgeries
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members
• Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures

Requirements

• Full GMC registration
• FRCS or equivalent qualification
• Eligibility for entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or CCT within 6 months of appointment
• Broad experience in the management of ENT elective surgery and emergency care
• Experience with specialty interest in sub-specialty of choice
• Evidence of clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
• Evidence of working effectively as a team player amongst a multi-professional team
