Key Responsibilities:

In the role of a Property & Liability Underwriter, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our partnerships with broker portfolios through responsive, adaptable, and collaborative interactions. With a robust blend of technical expertise and trading acumen, you will be empowered to make informed decisions and drive profitable growth in new business across key markets. Relationship management is crucial as you will engage with significant contacts in the marketplace through business development and customer interaction. Understanding the needs of customers and brokers will enable you to provide tailored solutions that yield optimal outcomes, reflecting Aviva's underwriting strategy and core values.

Opportunities for advancing your underwriting license levels will also be available.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in Property and Liability underwriting is essential Exceptional communication, listening, time management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a large, complex organization ACII qualifications or progress towards them Strong understanding of FCA regulations and other pertinent legislation Proficient in risk analysis, with the ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or clients
