Quantity Surveyor

Chubb Fire & Security Group is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Blackburn. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a portfolio of design and build projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Administration of Main Contracts, including Project Control information, Change Management, and Cash collection
- Administration of Subcontract Agreements, including execution of the project subcontract strategy
- Providing advisory services regarding standard forms of agreement, their administration, and ensuring best practices are adopted and implemented throughout the project life span
- Assisting in development and responsibility for Subcontract procurement and negotiation of all Subcontract Scope of Works and terms and conditions
- Commercial management of all Subcontract works, including NEC3 and other standard forms
- Managing Change, including valuing change and agreeing value consequences to Subcontractors
- Experience of JCT and NEC3 standard suites of Contracts
- Extensive experience as a site Senior QS with a main contractor or similar organisation
- Successful financial delivery in a challenging contracting environment
- Adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures
- Compliance with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures
