JOB OBJECTIVE
  • The role of the Warehouse Associate is to ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled with care and precision, including receiving, inspecting, packaging, and storing items in accordance with operational and safety protocols.
  • Adherence to established operating procedures is essential, along with a methodical approach to work and a solid understanding of inventory management techniques and stock control practices. ROLE OVERVIEW
  • Reporting directly to the Supervisor or Team Leader, the warehouse associate is tasked with overseeing daily warehouse functions, which encompass receiving, storage, inventory oversight, order picking, packing, and dispatching stock. The use of Manual Handling Equipment is required when necessary, with a focus on minimizing losses and damages.
  • Execute all responsibilities with accuracy to uphold organizational standards. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Maintain a secure working environment and promptly report any incidents. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage goods in vehicles/containers for restocking. Consistently uphold cleanliness and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Pick, pack, label, and arrange products on pallets. Handle returned items, which includes unloading vehicles, sorting returns, and restocking inventory.
  • Guarantee precision in all operations. Conduct quality assessments and maintain stock accuracy.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, perform inspections on workplace transport, and report any concerns immediately. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 2 x GCSE's (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting (Preferred)
  • Capability to address health and safety matters
  • Proactive in suggesting process enhancements
  • Relevant transport certifications (Preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety principles
  • Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
  • Strong time management abilities and familiarity with transport operations
