Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Commissioning Engineer to join our team at HVAC - FläktGroup UK. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of our HVAC systems and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a small site-based team of engineers and operatives to ensure the successful completion of commissioning activities.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans and schedules to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that commissioning activities are aligned with project objectives.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that commissioning activities are being carried out in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with commissioning activities, including health and safety risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that commissioning activities are carried out to their satisfaction.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, including test results and commissioning certificates.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in HVAC commissioning, with a strong understanding of commissioning procedures and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of engineers and operatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with commissioning activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning procedures and standards, including ASHREA and other relevant standards.
  • Ability to develop and maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, including test results and commissioning certificates.
