Job Title: HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted

Proman Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV/LGV C+E Drivers on behalf of our national client with an operating depot in Liverpool.

Job Summary:

We are seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in an ongoing and adhoc capacity for our national client, trunking loads between depots and RDCs. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible shifts, including afternoons and nights, with an average shift length of 10 hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold a valid Class 1/C+E Licence
  • No more than 6 points (no DD/DR/TT or IN endorsements)
  • Valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • Minimum 12 months ongoing work experience
  • No more than 12 current points for infringements on card
Pay Rates:

Pre-12 weeks:

  • Nights (Monday to Friday): £17.20 + £23.44 OT after 8 hours
  • Nights (Saturday): £21.89 + £23.44 OT after 8 hours
  • Nights (Sunday): £24.44
  • Bank Holiday: £32.08

Holiday pay at 12.07% can also be paid weekly if requested. Rates will increase after 12 weeks.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will need to be flexible and have a valid Class 1/C+E Licence. A minimum of 12 months ongoing work experience is essential, with a valid Tacho and CPC cards. No more than 6 points (no DD/DR/TT or IN endorsements) and no more than 12 current points for infringements on card.

Please note that the UK has left the European Union. EU, EEA, or Swiss citizens living in the UK who wish to remain in the UK post-Brexit need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme.
