Salary: Up to $400,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Spinner Medical Recruitment. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to older adults in acute inpatient and community mental health settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in older age psychiatry
  • Develop and implement person-centered, trauma-informed care models
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
  • Contribute to quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives
  • Participate in teaching and supervision of junior staff

Requirements:

  • FRANZCP or overseas equivalent qualification
  • Experience in older age psychiatry in inpatient and community settings
  • Expertise in person-centered, trauma-informed care
  • Strong leadership and collaborative skills
  • Experience in quality improvement and clinical governance
  • Teaching and supervision experience
  • Driving license
