About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Prospero Health & Social Care - Liverpool. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people at all times.
  • Assist individuals in reaching their full potential through education, independent living, and maintaining a healthy home environment.
  • Provide detailed written notes for each shift and effectively communicate with service users and professionals.
  • Uphold essential safeguarding practices and promote a positive, supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Child and Adult DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Previous experience in a similar role (1 year UK experience).
  • References covering the last 3 years.
  • Willingness to travel to different areas.

This role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and patience. You will work with individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviors, including aggression, self-injury, and mental health issues.
