Job Title: Project Worker

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Torbay Domestic Abuse Service. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to young people, empowering them to maximize their potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality person-centred support to enable and empower customers to develop the skills necessary for independent living.
  • Establish professional relationships with all customers, using appropriate and clear communication to promote independence.
  • Assist customers in understanding and planning their support package, focusing on positive outcomes to maximize their potential.
  • Provide advocacy to support customers and their families when required.
  • Liaise with relevant external agencies to ensure the maximum support is delivered to enable customers to access and maintain a level of integration within the wider community.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and young adults.
  • Proven knowledge of key needs and services for relevant customer group.
  • Some knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive and accepting approach to customers.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and clearly communicate relevant information.
