**Job Title:** Construction Assistant

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Construction Assistant to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a Construction Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects by providing assistance to skilled tradespeople and ensuring that our worksites are safe, clean, and organized.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Assist with Site Preparation:** Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment, and prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and ensuring a safe environment.
  • **Support Skilled Tradespeople:** Provide support to various tradesmen on site as needed, including operating basic hand tools and equipment under supervision.
  • **Maintain Site Safety:** Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed at all times, and report any hazards or incidents to the site management team.
  • **Collaborate with Team Members:** Work effectively with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • **Maintain Equipment and Tools:** Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.

**Requirements:**

  • **Previous Experience:** Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • **Certifications:** A valid CSCS card is required.
  • **Physical Fitness:** Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor are essential.
  • **Reliable Transportation:** Reliable transportation to and from the job site is required.
