Locum Housing Disrepair Lawyer – Full Time or Part Time – Predominantly Remote Working – Competitive Hourly Rate

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and will have a broad working understanding of Housing Disrepair Law to deal with a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Housing Disrepair
  • Manage Housing Disrepair cases at all stages of Pre-Litigation/Litigation
  • Ensure compliance with the Housing Disrepair Pre-Action Protocol
  • Advise on the management of risk on complex and contentious legal issues
  • Represent the Council in court and Conduct advocacy where appropriate
  • Negotiate and draft complex and sensitive agreements and documents in the area of Housing Disrepair and provide clear case strategy on cases
  • Assess evidence in relation to Housing disrepair matters and determine the likely prospects of success and the public interest in prosecuting matters

This position offers a competitive hourly rate dependent on experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join g2 Recruitment as a Locum Housing Disrepair Lawyer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation in Housing Disrepair cases.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience working within a Local Authority and a broad working understanding of Housing Disrepair Law. You will also need to be able to manage a varied caseload and work effectively in a remote working environment.
