About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infection Prevention and Control Lead to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and infection control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective infection prevention and control strategies to minimize the risk of infection and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify and address infection control issues and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that infection control policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection control practices and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to ensure that infection control best practices are being shared and implemented.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse/Health Care Professional with NMC/HCPC Registration.
  • Teaching and assessing qualification ENB 998 (or equivalent).
  • Specialist knowledge to a level defined for that hospital.
  • Ability to apply specialist knowledge to risk assessment and support appropriate controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
