About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team in the UK Public Sector. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our customers in the defence sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions for defence customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud migration projects
  • Develop and maintain technical relationships with customers
  • Advocate for customer needs and drive improvements to the AWS platform
  • Shape the future of the Solutions Architecture organisation
Requirements
  • Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
  • A degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics / Technology / Related science/technical field OR equivalent training, certifications, and/or experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of AWS services
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Experience with scripting (e.g. Python, PowerShell)
