Job Title: Process Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technologist to join our team at D R Newitt Recruitment. As a Process Technologist, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of new products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the conversion of new product development concepts into factory manufacturability products while meeting agreed standards between suppliers, customers, and the business.
  • Actively seek new process improvements to enhance factory efficiencies and throughputs.
  • Take a lead role in line trials and validation for new products and changes to existing ones.
  • Contribute to process design and development, support commissioning new equipment, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with technical teams to establish best practices for product validation and verification through test methods and test equipment.
Requirements:
  • Preferred but not required: Degree in Food Science/Technology or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to manage factory trials.
  • Understanding of factory processes.
  • Knowledge of product profiles, quality standards, and food manufacturing.
  • Able to adhere to and improve the NPD process.
