Job Title: Team Leader

Turning Point is a leading health and social care charity organisation with a rich history of delivering high-quality services. We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team in North Watford, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of support workers, ensuring that our service users receive the highest standard of care and support. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to develop and implement care plans, manage budgets, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support services
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the Registered Manager and other stakeholders
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to meet regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in a care or support setting, preferably with individuals with learning disabilities
  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
