About the Role:

Pertemps Reading is seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our team as a Gas Cylinder Specialist. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering gas cylinders to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders to customers, with a typical daily average of 15-20 drops.
  • Ensuring the safe transportation and handling of gas cylinders, adhering to strict Health & Safety protocols.
  • Maintaining the roadworthiness, cleanliness, and organization of the allocated vehicle.

Requirements:

  • A valid ADR license with classification 2 (in packages) is essential.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience holding the HGV Class 2 entitlement, for insurance purposes.

What We Offer:

  • Immediate start available.
  • Full training will be provided to ensure your success in the role.
  • A typical Monday-to-Friday schedule, with occasional weekend work by agreement/rota.
  • Weekend and Bank Holiday allowances available on top of the hourly rate.
