Job Title: Hospital Porter

Randstad Delivery (GBS) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hospital Porter to join our team. As a Hospital Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients, medical equipment, and supplies to various departments within the hospital.
  • Document and transport goods and records to relevant departments.
  • Report any safety hazards, accidents, loss, and theft to relevant managers.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments.
  • Clean areas after use to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
  • Follow health and safety policies when manoeuvring equipment and lifting.
  • Adhere to good personal and company hygiene standards.
  • Complete tasks on an ad-hoc basis as requested.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a flexible approach.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Health and safety awareness.
  • Good communication skills with management, departments, and patients.
  • Flexible attitude and strong work ethic.
