We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spanish language examiner to join our team at Pearson.

About the Role

As a GCSE Spanish examiner, you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marking candidates' responses accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
  • Submitting samples to your Team Leader at designated times
  • Ensuring milestones for marking are adhered to
  • Completing all administration tasks as specified

Requirements

  • One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant qualification subject, and since qualifying as a teacher
  • A degree or equivalent
  • Qualification as a teacher

Competencies

  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme
