Overview
Optima Systems is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the management of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.
- Monitor progress on site, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact project timelines or costs.
- Provide support with financial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate processing of sub-contract orders and purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
Training and Qualifications
- Enrolled on the Surveying Technician Level 3 Intermediate Apprenticeship program.
- Attend college on day release as directed by the college, working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Surveying.
- Upon completion, become an Associate member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Career Progression
- Successful completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship and End Point Assessment (EPA) enables progression to the BSc Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship.
