About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Shakopeemn. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly close processes
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with external regulations and internal policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to business stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain financial systems, including Oracle Consolidation
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with relevant PQE
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley
  • Experience with financial systems, including Oracle Consolidation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
