About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join our team at Lancashire County Council. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for completing scheduled and unscheduled reviews for older adults in residential or nursing home care across Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete scheduled and unscheduled reviews for older adults in residential or nursing home care across Lancashire.
  • Ensure that quality of life and provision of support is person-centred and strengths-based using a Three Conversations approach.
  • Work closely with the Assurance team, our colleagues in safeguarding and commissioning.
  • Undertake section 21a appeals work and provide critical analysis of information and write reports to Court standard.
Requirements
  • Social Work England registered.
  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in Adults.
