Position Overview

Inspired Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer specializing in the aerospace sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our supply chain adheres to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and Assessment: Develop and execute a comprehensive schedule of audits and evaluations within our supply chain to verify that suppliers meet regulatory standards and company requirements.
  • Supplier Facility Visits: Conduct site visits to supplier locations to assess manufacturing practices, identify non-conformities, and recommend improvements.
  • Quality Issue Management: Proactively address quality concerns by implementing effective root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
  • Supplier Selection and Onboarding: Assist in the selection and onboarding of suppliers, ensuring risk management and collaboration with various departments to achieve optimal quality outcomes.
  • Conduct Audits: Plan and perform audits of supplier products and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance.
  • Quality Plans Development: Oversee supplier transitions and the creation of quality plans to support these changes.
  • Project Support: Provide support for new projects and prototypes as necessary.
  • Source Inspection: Carry out on-site inspections or release at source as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and report on supplier quality data, facilitating action plans aimed at driving ongoing improvements.
