About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Community Nursing Team Lead to join our team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our community nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of nursing professionals in the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure best practice
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellent patient care
- Contribute to the development of the community nursing service, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse with a District Nursing Practitioner qualification and Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification
- Leadership experience and a completion of a leadership program
- Practice assessor/supervisor qualification and Registered Mentor
- Post-registration experience, training, and short courses
