Job Title: Associate Civil Design Engineer

CV Library is seeking an experienced Associate Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Twickenham. As a key member of the Civils team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of projects, attending project meetings, and being a key contact for clients, contractors, and other project consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage projects from site feasibility through to project completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints and quality expectations.
  2. Lead a team of civil/infrastructure engineers, providing technical and commercial management, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with private and public sector clients, architects, planners, and other property professionals throughout the development life cycle.
  4. Establish new business opportunities and develop existing client relationships through excellent project delivery and repeat business.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies, ensuring the growth and success of the company.
  6. Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for project team members, fulfilling all responsibilities for health and safety in design.
  7. Manage project finances, client interaction, and project coordination, representing the company at consultants' meetings.
  8. Develop staff and assist in training and mentoring, focusing on assisting staff to gain professional accreditation.
  9. Participate in developing the UK practice, including technical excellence, culture, procedures, professional development, and continuous improvement.
