Job Title: KS3 PRU Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS3 PRU Teacher to join our team at a secondary alternative education provision in the Walsall area. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching pupils with Social, Emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) needs and be able to differentiate their teaching to meet the individual needs of each pupil.

About the Role:
  • Teach children aged 11-16 who have an EHCP for SEMH needs and associated obstacles to learning such as Autism, ADHD, and SpLD.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of the pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a holistic approach to education.
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • QTS, QTLS, or other relevant teaching qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or willingness to apply for a new one).
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
  • Minimum of 2 professional references.
  • CV with a full history.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
