Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Koinonia Christian Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, leading by example and supporting your colleagues to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Supervise and support care team members, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support residents with meal times, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, responding to changing resident needs.
About You:
  • You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential care setting.
  • You should hold a relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, such as an NVQ or QCF.
  • You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You should be able to lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
