As a Catering Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation and delivery of meals and refreshments to patients, medical staff, and visitors through basic food handling and service.
Our catering services extend to various areas including the staff dining room, reception snack area, patient rooms, and events hosted on-site.

Our Critical Care department, along with our multidisciplinary team, is dedicated to providing the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, presentation, and serving of food and beverages to the required standards for staff, patients, and medical professionals. Support the service of meals to staff, visitors, and patients in both dining areas and wards. Take customer orders regarding food and beverage preferences, ensuring adherence to dietary requirements. Maintain effective stock control through proper rotation, date checking, and ensuring packaging integrity. Follow health and safety protocols in compliance with current regulations. Perform general cleaning and dishwashing duties associated with a large-scale kitchen according to a designated schedule.Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience in a catering or food service role. Strong communication abilities. Capacity to build rapport with all customers. Commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings and potentially weekends.
