Senior Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at RGB Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of electrical services for a range of multi-million-pound projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and delivery of electrical services for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external design team members to develop and implement electrical designs.
  • Prepare detailed specifications, drawings, and schedules for all electrical services to convey design requirements clearly.
  • Review and verify design work, including that completed by Engineers and Assistant Engineers.
  • Conduct site surveys, commissioning, and testing as required.
  • Prepare budget estimates, cost plans, tender documents, and contract arrangements.
  • Attend project and technical meetings.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the building services sectors, with a strong understanding of electrical design and delivery.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Experience of working within a team environment, with a strong understanding of project needs and delivery.
