Job Overview

Daw Signs & Fit Outs is experiencing rapid growth due to the acquisition of long-term, high-volume contracts. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Glasgow, responsible for managing cash flow, bank and balance sheet reconciliation, and preparing management accounts.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage cash flow and ensure timely payments
  2. Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
  3. Prepare management accounts and financial reports
  4. Accrue and prepay expenses
  5. Post journals and maintain accurate financial records
  6. Supervise credit control and accounts payable/receivable
  7. Lead the Finance Officer and Assistant
  8. Report to the Finance/Commercial Director and provide insights for business planning
  9. Manage various financial matters arising for the business
  10. Prepare quarterly VAT returns and client retention claims
  11. Produce applications for payment
Candidate Requirements
  1. Recognised Accounting qualification or equivalent experience
  2. Business accounts and finance management experience
  3. Xero, Sage, and Payroll experience
  4. Experience with CIS (construction industry scheme)
  5. Excellent Excel and reporting skills
  6. Enthusiasm, drive, and willingness to grow with the company
Job Details

Salary negotiable based on experience and skill. References will be required for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £32,993.94-£40,000.00 per year
