Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our team at BT Group. As a key member of our Technical Service Operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and deploying new quality assured bespoke builds in an automated way, as well as performing 2nd Line support and maintenance activities on existing ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain software delivery pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment of new builds and updates.
  • Provide 2nd Line support and maintenance for existing software applications, resolving technical issues and improving overall system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software delivery and support, with a strong background in technical operations and maintenance.
  • Excellent technical skills, with expertise in DevOps, agile methodologies, and software development.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
