**Job Summary**
Michael Page Finance is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Tax Accountant to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Payroll Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payroll tax data and implementing process improvements to prevent errors in the future.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Verify payroll tax data to ensure accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations
- Develop and implement process improvements to prevent errors and reduce the risk of non-compliance
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Stay up-to-date with BIK rates and their impact on staff
- Review and update payroll information to ensure accuracy and compliance
**Requirements**
The successful Payroll Tax Accountant will have a strong understanding of HMRC tax rates and their impact on staff, as well as excellent attention to detail to identify errors quickly. Ideally, you will have experience working in a similar role dealing with employment tax and BIK.
**What We Offer**
As a Payroll Tax Accountant with Michael Page Finance, you will be offered a competitive daily rate of £450 PAYE/£550 umbrella, with the option to work remotely. The contract will be for an initial 3-6 months.
