Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multiskilled Technician to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the planned preventive maintenance and repair of multi-utility plant sites, including multi-fuel boilers and associated burner systems, steam systems, MTHW systems, LTHW heating systems, control systems, pumps, motors, electrical infrastructure, oil systems, fault diagnosis, repair, and some minor installation works.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance and repair of multi-utility plant sites, including multi-fuel boilers and associated burner systems, steam systems, MTHW systems, LTHW heating systems, control systems, pumps, motors, electrical infrastructure, oil systems, fault diagnosis, repair, and some minor installation works.
- Work on a large range of industrial boilers, combustion equipment, and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) engines.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as required.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven electrical fault finding skills and electrical qualifications - HNC electrical engineering or ONC electrical engineering qualification.
- Combined Heat & Power experience would be beneficial, and a gas safe qualification would be advantageous, as would COSHH awareness and IOSH core.
- Steam boiler plant experience and gas and oil combustion experience is also desirable.
