Job Summary

GAP Group Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lifting Equipment Inspector to join our team. As a Senior TIC Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, function testing, repair, and maintenance of lifting and working at height equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test lifting equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Repair and maintain lifting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Conduct proof load testing of equipment such as runway beams, davit sockets, swing jibs, and lift shaft eyes
  • Provide detailed reporting and certification for equipment
  • Carry out site surveys and advise customers on the correct selection and use of lifting equipment
  • Support the lifting depot network by maintaining the hire fleet, upskilling members of the team, and providing customers with bespoke solutions to lifting-based queries

Requirements

  • Multiple LEEA Qualifications, including advanced programs such as Runways & Crane Structures and/or Overhead Travelling Cranes
  • Manufacturer and Industry Training, including CSCS, IPAF, Confined Space, Working at Height, PASMA, etc
  • Competent in accordance with LOLER
  • Valid driving license
