Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Stirling Warrington. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement repairs or replacements as necessary
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
- Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
- Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (mechanical bias)
- Experience within a fast-paced FMCG environment
- Experience in welding - ideally Tig but would look at other welding experience
- Experience with belts, chains, conveyors, pulleys, straps, gearboxes, etc. is advantageous
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance engineer
