Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as the Service Director – Community Services. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver high-quality services that enhance the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of community safety, environmental health, licensing, leisure services, arts and culture, and more.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive innovation and deliver positive outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including community groups, partners, and residents.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within a local government or public sector environment.
  • Strong understanding of community protection, leisure, and culture services.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into action.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and delivering positive outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
