Job Description:

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Static HIU Plumber to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a high-end residential contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Domestic Central Heating System Maintenance: Exchange of components, including radiators, cylinders, tanks, and system controls.
  • Power Flushing: Maintenance of central heating systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Reactive Work Completion: Close down completed works as per site requirements and report issues to the contract support desk.
  • Plumbing Tasks: Undertake plumbing tasks for domestic and commercial installations, including pressure systems, FCUs, pipe work, radiators, valves, pumps, and motors.
  • Pressure Testing: Increase pressure in pipe systems and observe connected pressure gauge systems to test for leaks.
  • Hot and Cold Water Systems: Maintenance of hot and cold water systems, calorifiers, boilers, legionella control, and general plumbing services.
  • Cold Water Storage Tanks: Maintenance of cold water storage tanks.
  • HIU Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in working with HIU.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates on work progress, and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, installations, and compliance documentation.
Hours of Work and Package Information:
  • Basic Salary: Up to £43,000.
  • No Call Out: No call-out requirements.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 17.00.
  • Holidays: 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
  • Company Benefits: Tablet and work phone provided, full company uniform.
Requirements:
  • Plumbing Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 2 (essential), City & Guilds Level 3 (desirable).
  • DBS Check: Must be able to pass a DBS check or have a current DBS.
  • Trade Certificates: Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates.
  • Commercial Experience: A proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Multi-Skilled: Must be multi-skilled.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills.
  • Client-Facing: Must be client-facing.
